Early-career singers
Professional performance experience, supportive mentoring, personalized coaching, and an encouraging atmosphere in which to grow. Each summer, 16 emerging artists join the company to perform supporting roles, cover mainstage roles, and sing as soloists in concerts.
Early-career pianists
Established in honor of Janet Newkirk (1952–2024), this position within the Ader Emerging Artist Program supports an emerging collaborative pianist in opera. Applications for 2027 open in October 2026.
Singers
